    AGILITY CLASSES

Agility is a rapidly growing sport in which a handler directs his dog over a timed obstacle course. The course may be all jumps and weave poles (Jumpers with Weaves) or a variety of obstacles such as jumps, weave poles, tunnels, A-frame, teeter-totter, etc. (Standard)

AADTC offers a variety of agility classes for all levels (Introductory, Beginner, Intermediate, Novice /Open / Excellent practice, etc.)

    Who can train?
An agility screening is held prior to each session for new handlers and dogs. Unless it is specifically a class for puppies, your dog must be at least one year old and have completed a basic obedience class or the equivalent. It is important that your dog is in good physical condition as agility can be strenuous on both handler and dog.
